Wonderful Szechuan Restaurant in Nortd Vancouver

Costumer service was wonderful. They were nice and friendly. Food was delicious.

Very authentic Chinese food . They offer free tea. This is true Chinese Restaurant.Richmond Restaurants don’t offer free tea which push customers order their bubble tea. In China, Restaurants offer free tea that is basic.

This place is out of my way but worth the trip. Clean atmosphere, great flavour, fresh vegetables and friendly staff. While there are other options near Lonsdale this place stands out compared to any other Chinese food from Lynn Valley or towards deep cove.

Fantastic experience. Food arrived quickly, and was all delicious. The fried chili garlic beans and the sweet and sour pork were the highlights.The atmosphere was like a lot of family run chinese restaurants, however I could tell cleanliness is important to the staff.The location is easy to get to with enough parking out front of the store.Thanks to the friendly staff!

Old school Szechuan Chinese food, Served right. I used to have a business near a Chinese food place. I miss that place... sometimes you want to have good grub and no nonsense decor. Sometimes you don’t care that your spring roll sauce is in a take out packet. I knew what I was in for from outside appearances and have to say it exceeded my expectations.Wonderful has Good service & friendly staff and part of the Lynn valley community. They do lots of take out but I really was impressed that the service was great. These days a lot of restaurants ignore the customer in front of them and fawn over mr door dash or whatever. Not too busy on this rainy Thursday night. And not to mention ... fortune cookies 🥠

Be careful if ordering gluten free. We were assured that they could do gluten free servings but when it was delivered we were told not to eat certain dishes. They did not want us to get sick. No refund offered and when I asked for a refund I was told no. Very poor customer service. Will never order here again.

Like the name suggests, it is very wonderful! From foods to services all top notch! Very relaxing and clean ambience and the flavours are both localized and authentic. On top of everything there are Plenty of parking! If you like spicy check it out!

Food is amazing have no complaints but the service is so very rude and stingy. I want to go there but am so put off by the multiple negative interactions I have had there. I know a few people who live in Lynn Valley who feel the same way.

I'm grateful to have this restaurant in Lynn Valley. Delicious food, fast delivery, and friendly people. I'm ordering some food for my visiting family tonight and won't have to worry about a thing. I especially like the deep fried prawns with spicy salt and pepper.

Great Chinese place. We had wonton soup, deep fried rice and spicy chicken. Portions are very generous and food is delicious. Service is great as well - highly recommend.

Wonderful Szechuan is my to go Chinese Restaurant in North Vancouver. Before this restaurant opened up I would have to go all the way to Red Chili Szechuan on Lonsdale for my fix of Chinese Food. My Family and I have eaten in a few occasions and it's quite nice, but we mainly get take out from Wonderful Szechuan. I recommend getting the spicy dishes, they are fantastic. But the one thing you have to get every time you visit is the Garlic String Beans, I'm getting hungry just thinking about them.

Food was too salty but the taste was about average in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. 1 star was because we wanted to take food home which we couldn't finish. They offered to do this for us. However, upon returning home we realized they packed steamed rice in the container instead of our actual food. I was thinking that it could have been a mistake but there was noone else there so I am not sure how there could have been confusion.

Mostly people seem to come here for pick up, the restaurant was empty when we were there for early dinner on Monday. They have a small patio. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. I ordered a combination meal with chicken, spring rolls and wonton soup. None of the items were exciting. Rice with chicken was overly sweet. Rice was cold.

Shameful that this is called a Sichuan restaurant when it is not. The entire menu is westernized to suit western taste. Aside from familiar menu names, the taste and the look of the dishes is nothing like real sichuan food.They are clearly serving Canadian Chinese food, even the word Szechuan is a bastardized word of Sichuan for the west.

Absolutely wonderful food! We had the Mongolian beef, deep fried squid and vegetables chow mein.

Always tasty food and good portion. Staff is nice and service fast. My go to when I want wonton soup or nice sweet and sous pork.

Super tasty family run Szechuan style restaurant on your way back from Lynne valley. We have ordered many things over the years and they have all been very good and fresh. My favorite is the cumin lamb, but be warned it is VERY flavorful! For people with kids they have high chairs and plastic plates forks and little cups. The only thing we have to bring is a bib and our kids!We will keep coming back as long as this restaurant is here as it's the perfect place on our way back from the mountains.

Great Chinese food. Ask them for recommendations when you’re there because some dishes are very simple and a little bland but the classics are all great.

Great place for Szechuan style chinese in Lynn Valley. Customer service was wonderful. Our water glasses were refilled frequently and the food came out quickly. We got the wonton soup and while the wontons and broth were good, I felt they could've included some veggies in the soup as well. The szechuan style green beans were very flavourful although a touch too salty for me. Both the veggie chow mein and spring rolls were delicious!
